As a Field Service Technician I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the readiness of medical devices for patient utilization. This position involves a variety of tasks including cleaning, disinfecting, performing operational function checks, and conducting minor repairs on both Baxter and non-Baxter products. You will be part of a dedicated team that works within hospitals and service settings, delivering and repairing medical devices that are essential for patient care. In your first month, you will work the 1st shift to gain familiarity with our products and processes. After this initial training period, you will transition to the evening shift, where you will be responsible for delivering our products to clients. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, as well as the ability to operate a company vehicle safely. You will also be expected to provide on-call coverage, which may include weekends and holidays, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need at all times. Your work will not only involve technical skills but also the ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff and caregivers, demonstrating how to use Baxter products.
