About the position

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair services on medical equipment within a Las Vegas-centered territory, covering most of Nevada and central California. This role emphasizes high-quality service and customer relationship building while seeking opportunities to grow the service business. The position requires daily driving to customer locations and involves approximately 30% overnight travel, all company-paid.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative maintenance and repair services on medical equipment.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer hospital locations and Arjo Service Centers.
• Assess, estimate costs, and complete repairs for customer-owned medical equipment.
• Assist the sales team in marketing company equipment through joint calls, in-services, and trade show setups.
• Actively seek opportunities to grow Arjo Service Contracts business.
• Submit accurate and timely Activity Reports.
• Manage spare parts inventory.

Requirements

• 3 years' experience in repair and maintenance on electromechanical equipment.
• Field/customer-facing experience strongly preferred.
• Associate's Degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline is helpful.
• Electrical and mechanical assembly, repair or maintenance training and/or certifications preferred.
• Experience in selling or sales techniques preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Must be able to lift 30lbs and push/pull objects that are 70lbs.
