About The Position
Rock and Recycling Equipment is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians to join our fast-growing team in Sutton, MA. As a representative of top-of-the-line crushing and screening equipment, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our heavy machinery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment diagnostics, maintenance, and repair, particularly with crushers, screeners, and stackers. You will be responsible for promoting a safe work environment, performing diagnostics and repairs on various equipment, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations. In this role, you will engage in all aspects of hydraulic testing, diesel engine diagnostics, and electrical repairs. Your expertise in cutting, welding, and fabricating will be essential for maintaining and repairing our equipment. You will also be expected to operate support equipment such as bobcats, loaders, and cranes, while managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. Daily responsibilities include conducting equipment inspections, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing service work orders. You will be required to work in various settings, including outdoor quarries and garages, and may be exposed to challenging environmental conditions. The role demands physical stamina, as you may need to lift heavy objects and work in potentially stressful situations. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential, as is the ability to follow directions and adhere to company policies.
