About the position

The VERIFI Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of VERIFI equipment at concrete manufacturing plants. This role requires the technician to work independently, spending approximately 80% of their time at customer sites, and to maintain strong relationships with customers while ensuring the effective operation of concrete management systems. The technician will also be involved in troubleshooting, customer service, and equipment administration, all while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain VERIFI concrete management systems on customer mixer trucks and admixture dispensing systems.
• Perform troubleshooting services to resolve customer issues and optimize equipment performance.
• Coordinate problem resolution with other employees and serve as the primary contact for customers.
• Plan and schedule service work independently, managing response times to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment ordering and expense reporting.
• Complete safety training and adhere to safety procedures at all times.
• Provide feedback to the R&D team for equipment improvements and new system designs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
• Broad knowledge of computer systems, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical systems.
• Hands-on electro-mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and comply with safety regulations, including wearing a respirator.
• Flexibility in work hours and willingness to travel for emergency service calls.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in field service work.
• Working knowledge of the Ready Mix Concrete industry.
