About the position
The Field Service Technician at Fluidra is responsible for servicing all Fluidra products with a focus on customer satisfaction. This role involves scheduling and performing service calls, educating dealers and pool owners, delivering product training, and representing Fluidra at trade shows. The technician will work closely with sales managers to promote products and ensure proper installation and maintenance of pool and spa systems.
Responsibilities
- Schedule service calls and manage them in an organized manner.
- Perform service calls on Fluidra products in a timely and professional manner.
- Educate dealers and pool owners on product installation, operation, maintenance, and service.
- Deliver product training seminars as requested by dealers and sales managers.
- Instruct dealers on warranty guidelines and claims processing procedures.
- Represent Fluidra at local and national trade shows and seminars.
- Work closely with sales managers to promote Fluidra products and services.
- Write routine reports and correspondence.
- Communicate and present effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience with significant customer service experience.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Strong working knowledge of pool/spa operation and product installation and repair.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and email software.
- Ability to follow instructions and exercise sound judgment in assisting customers.
- Must have a clean driving record.
