About the position

The Field Service Technician at Vivint Smart Home is responsible for the expert installation and service of smart home technology, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. This role offers a competitive hourly wage plus uncapped commission, comprehensive training, and the opportunity to work independently while maximizing earning potential through service and installation appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert-level installation and services of smart home technology.
• Maximize earning potential by leveraging service and installation appointments into leads and additional revenue.
• Conduct safety analysis of every home to ensure a safe workplace for both the technician and customers.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Sales experience in car sales, retail sales, insurance sales, B2C sales, or call center experience.
• Field technician experience in cable installation, internet installation, pest control, lawn maintenance, construction, or as a solar technician.
• Clean driving record and valid license.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment as well as independently.
