About the position
The Field Service Technician at Vivint Smart Home is responsible for the expert-level installation and servicing of smart home technology. This role focuses on providing exceptional customer service while maximizing earning potential through service and installation appointments. Technicians will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety in every interaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level installation and services of smart home technology.
- Maximize earning potential by leveraging service and installation appointments into leads and additional revenue.
- Conduct safety analysis of every home to ensure a safe workplace for both the technician and customers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and act with honesty and integrity.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Sales experience in car sales, retail sales, insurance sales, B2C sales, or call center experience.
- Field technician experience in cable installation, internet installation, pest control, lawn maintenance, construction, or as a solar technician.
- Clean driving record and valid license.
- Ability to thrive in both team environments and independently.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a technical field or home services industry.
- Familiarity with smart home products and technology.
