About the position
The Field Service Technician role at Industrial Supply & Service, LLC involves performing field service tasks, troubleshooting, installation, and preventative maintenance on air compressors and compressed air equipment. The position requires a strong understanding of pneumatic principles and the ability to work both in-house and at customer locations, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot equipment failures both in-house and on customer locations.
- Install compressed air pipework systems.
- Properly use voltmeters, ampmeters, shock pulse tools, and infrared meters.
- Read and comprehend electrical drawings.
- Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and settings controls on air compressors.
- Assist in compressed air package fabrication.
- Set up rigging equipment to safely remove and install motors, compressors, and related equipment.
- Fill out service reports.
- Download software updates to controllers via laptop.
- Meet safety requirements for both the company and customers.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5 years of maintenance experience (preferred).
- 5 years of mechanical knowledge (preferred).
