About the position

The Field Service Technician role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial HVAC equipment for a diverse range of domestic and international customers. The technician will work with various systems, including DX package units, chillers, and PLC controls, ensuring that all equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding service findings and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial HVAC equipment for various customers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting unit operation.
• Ensure equipment is brought back to manufacturer's design parameters after repairs.
• Communicate with customers about findings, proposed solutions, and project status.
• Perform traditional preventative maintenance tasks as required.

Requirements

• Five plus years of experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial HVAC equipment.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC is preferred.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record is required.
• Universal EPA Certification is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Offshore service/project experience is preferred.
• Basic Plus issued by HASC or ISTC is preferred.
• TWIC Card is preferred.
