About the position
The Field Service Technician role involves significant travel across the Pacific Northwest to support an international electronic test equipment manufacturer. The technician will be responsible for on-site and remote troubleshooting and repair of state-of-the-art security scanners, requiring a professional demeanor as the position is client-facing. The role includes preparing daily logs and reports of work performed and managing a field delivery schedule independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site or remote troubleshooting and repair of electronic test equipment.
- Service and install new security scanners.
- Independently schedule field delivery and manage travel logistics.
- Prepare daily logs and reports of work performed, including hours spent and inventory used.
- Provide customer support and represent the company professionally.
Requirements
- 2+ years of radio frequency experience or comparable field experience.
- Familiarity with IP Networking.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Professional demeanor suitable for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with EMC test chamber applications.
- TSA Background.
