About the position
The Field Service Technician role involves significant travel and requires the individual to perform on-site or remote troubleshooting and repair of advanced security scanning equipment. This position is client-facing, necessitating a professional demeanor and the ability to represent the company effectively. The technician will manage their own field delivery schedule and is expected to maintain accurate logs and reports of their work.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site or remote troubleshooting and repair of electronic test equipment.
- Service and install state-of-the-art security scanners.
- Independently schedule field delivery and manage travel logistics.
- Prepare daily logs and reports of work performed, including hours and inventory used.
- Provide customer support and represent the company professionally.
Requirements
- 2+ years of radio frequency experience or comparable field experience.
- Familiarity with IP Networking.
- Professional demeanor suitable for client-facing interactions.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
- Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with EMC test chamber applications.
