About the position

The Field Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing technical, installation, and administrative tasks related to internal and external communications, vendor management, and store system setups. This position ensures that all scopes of work for various Field Services programs are completed on time and in full, acting as the key contact for all aspects of enterprise construction projects involving IT Field Service Providers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all Point-of-Sale equipment is ordered, shipped, and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate and monitor various vendors during installation, de-installation, and equipment return processes to ensure service quality.
  • Track and monitor revisits and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Verify equipment functionality prior to store opening and perform technical troubleshooting on hardware and/or software issues until resolution.
  • Assist with testing of store equipment.
  • Maintain communications and escalations to vendors and various levels of management regarding POS equipment.
  • Research missing equipment using available resources to minimize loss.
  • Act as a liaison to internal customers and vendors to maintain service quality for Point-of-Sale installations.
  • Create purchase orders and process billing for installations.
  • Create inventory piks (requisitions) and reconcile outstanding returns.
  • Handle emails and prepare various reports as needed.
  • Setup stores in various systems to support company growth and technology refresh.
  • Communicate inventory level changes to Field Service Management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of prior IT Help Desk and/or project coordination experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to set priorities and participate in a multi-faceted team.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to track projects through established schedules.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to function in a team with vendors, contractors, and Dollar Tree personnel.
