About the position

Wiliot is seeking a seasoned Field Services Manager to lead operations in the Dallas metroplex, focusing on the deployment, maintenance, and research and development of innovative IoT solutions. This role is pivotal in managing a team of field technicians and engineers, ensuring the successful implementation of Wiliot's cutting-edge technology in various sectors, including consumer, retail, food, and pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of field technicians and engineers to ensure seamless deployment and support of Wiliot's IoT solutions across Dallas.
• Manage installation projects from start to finish, ensuring projects meet timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
• Lead field testing and R&D initiatives to enhance and develop Wiliot's IoT products, ensuring alignment with market demands and technological advances.
• Serve as the key liaison for clients, managing relationships, updates, and expectations for a superior customer experience.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize field operations, reducing operational costs and enhancing productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in field operations, prioritizing safety and environmental considerations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or commensurate field experience.
• At least 2 years in a management role in field services, with experience in IoT or similar technology sectors.
• Demonstrated success in managing technology-related project deployments.
• Deep understanding of IoT, wireless networks, and data analytics.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in team development and engagement.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic mindset.
• Willingness to travel within the Dallas metroplex as needed.
