About the position
The Field Services Technician role at Vivint involves providing expert-level installation and service of smart home technology. Technicians will work directly with customers, ensuring high-quality service while maximizing earning potential through sales opportunities. The position offers a competitive hourly wage plus uncapped commission, comprehensive training, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level installation and service of smart home technology.
- Maximize earning potential by converting service and installation appointments into leads and additional revenue.
- Conduct safety analyses of homes to ensure a safe workplace for both technicians and customers.
- Utilize company-provided tools and equipment to perform job duties effectively.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Sales experience in automotive, retail, insurance, B2C, or call center environments.
- Field technician experience in cable installation, internet installation, pest control, lawn maintenance, construction, or solar technology.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Ability to thrive in both team and independent work environments.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in automotive sales or retail sales.
