About the position
The Field Services Technician role at Vivint involves providing expert-level installation and service of smart home technology. This position is designed for motivated, customer-focused individuals who are coachable and have a knack for technology and sales. Technicians will work from home, utilizing a company vehicle and gas card, and will have the opportunity to maximize their earning potential through commission on services and installations.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level installation and service of smart home technology.
- Maximize earning potential by leveraging service and installation appointments into leads and additional revenue.
- Conduct safety analysis of every home to ensure a safe workplace for both the technician and customers.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Sales experience in automotive, retail, insurance, B2C, or call center environments.
- Field technician experience in cable installation, internet installation, pest control, lawn maintenance, construction, or as a solar technician.
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Ability to thrive in both team environments and independently.
Nice-to-haves
