About the position

As a Field Solutions Architect III specializing in Generative AI at Google Cloud, you will support the sales organization by developing rapid prototype applications tailored to a diverse range of customers, from startups to large enterprises. Your role involves leveraging cutting-edge Generative AI technologies to create innovative solutions, validate their effectiveness, and showcase capabilities directly to clients. You will collaborate closely with the Product team to overcome challenges and influence the future direction of Google Cloud offerings, while also disseminating insights to both customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Construct rapid prototype Generative AI applications tailored to Google Cloud customers.
  • Leverage Generative AI technologies to develop innovative solutions and validate their efficacy.
  • Showcase the latest Generative AI capabilities through direct collaboration with customers.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to eliminate obstacles and shape future offerings.
  • Disseminate lessons learned to customers and internal Google teams.
  • Design Generative AI-driven solutions that span AI, Data, and Infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate Google Cloud's differentiation by working with customers on application prototypes.
  • Build repeatable technical assets such as scripts, templates, and reference architectures.
  • Work cross-functionally to influence Google Cloud strategy and product direction.
  • Coordinate regional field enablement with leadership and partner organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in a statistical programming language (e.g., Python).
  • Experience in Artificial Intelligence applications (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, or pattern recognition).
  • Experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with CI/CD solutions in the context of ML Operations and Large Language Model (LLM) Operations.
  • Experience in systems design with the ability to architect and explain data pipelines, ML pipelines, and ML training and serving approaches.
  • Experience training and fine-tuning models in large scale environments with accelerators.
  • Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance versus costs.
