About the position

As a Generative AI Field Solutions Developer at Google Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales organization by constructing rapid prototype Generative AI applications tailored to a diverse range of customers, from startups to established enterprises. This position involves leveraging cutting-edge Generative AI technologies to develop innovative solutions, showcasing capabilities through direct customer collaboration, and working closely with the Product team to shape future offerings. Your contributions will help accelerate digital transformation for organizations using Google Cloud's enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business processes and objectives.
• Design Generative AI-driven solutions that span AI, Data, and Infrastructure, integrating the full cloud stack into the overall architecture.
• Demonstrate Google Cloud's differentiation by working with customers on application prototypes and showcasing Generative AI features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Generative AI applications.
• Build repeatable technical assets such as scripts, templates, and reference architectures to enable customers and internal teams.
• Work cross-functionally to influence Google Cloud strategy and product direction by advocating for enterprise customer requirements.
• Coordinate regional field enablement with leadership and collaborate with product and partner organizations on external enablement.
• Travel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Math, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in AI applications (e.g., Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, or Pattern Recognition).
• Experience in statistical programming languages (e.g., Python), applied machine learning techniques, and using OSS frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience delivering technical presentations and leading business value sessions.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with distributed training and optimizing performance versus costs.
• Experience with CI/CD solutions in the context of MLOps and LLMOps including automation with IaC (e.g., using Terraform).
• Experience designing and deploying with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, Spark ML, etc.
• Experience training and fine-tuning models in large-scale environments (e.g., image, language, recommendation) with accelerators.
• Experience in systems design, with the ability to design and explain data pipelines, ML pipelines, and ML training and serving approaches.
