About the position

The Field Specialist in Pipeline Services at Baker Hughes is responsible for coordinating and overseeing work at field sites, ensuring quality service to customers. This role involves managing job preparations, operating equipment safely, and maintaining good customer relations while working in various environmental conditions. The position requires physical labor and adherence to safety regulations, with a focus on optimizing energy extraction and processing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage job preparation, pre and post-job checks, load-out, rigging up and rigging down, and field maintenance of equipment.
  • Operate company equipment safely and in compliance with regulations.
  • Assemble pipes, hoses, and pumping equipment using hand tools with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain good customer relations and effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Maintain regulatory documentation as required.
  • Coordinate clean-up, repair, and preparation of equipment for subsequent jobs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Pipeline products, services, rig activities, and processes.
  • Minimum of 2 years of industry experience and product line competencies and training required.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card.
  • Ability to pass required physical evaluation for field duty.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license for commercial use or willingness to obtain one.
