About the position

The Field Superintendent at Rite-Hite Company is responsible for overseeing the coordination of installation projects, ensuring quality work, timely completion, and cost management while exceeding customer expectations. This role involves fostering communication among various stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and sales representatives, and ensuring that all Rite-Hite products are installed according to specifications. The position requires site visits, project coordination, and maintaining an electronic installation schedule, while also supporting safety initiatives within the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all installation projects to ensure quality and timely completion while managing costs.
  • Foster communication and relationships among customers, contractors, subcontractors, Technicians, and Sales Representatives.
  • Serve as a resource for sales representatives regarding installation pricing and scheduling.
  • Ensure all Rite-Hite products are installed according to specifications by maintaining close relationships with the corporate applications department and sales organization.
  • Visit job sites pre-sale to assess issues that need to be considered in quotes.
  • Review all orders to identify project requirements.
  • Coordinate projects with Sales Representatives, TTL, CSR, and subcontractors.
  • Perform job site checks as needed and attend project startup meetings to ensure good communication among all parties.
  • Maintain the district's electronic installation schedule and coordinate installations with customers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring quality of work and compliance with safety standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct cost control activities, including reviewing subcontractor invoices.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of all Rite-Hite and allied products.
  • Support a safe and healthy workplace by modeling safe behaviors and conducting safety audits.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices in the workplace.
  • Familiarity with Rite-Hite products and installation processes is preferred.
