About the position

The Field Supervisor at Corey Construction is responsible for managing multiple roofing crews to ensure quality work and adherence to safety guidelines. This role requires a general understanding of various roofing systems, construction safety provisions, and the ability to maintain quality control on job sites. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, interact professionally with customers, and provide training to crew members. The position emphasizes strong leadership, organizational skills, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple roofing crews to ensure quality work and safety guidelines are followed.
• Understand different roofing systems and their proper installation.
• Conduct safety meetings prior to the start of work each day.
• Ensure crews are on-time to job sites and workflow is consistent with project schedules.
• Interact professionally with customers and job site visitors.
• Provide training to crew members on design, installation, and technical aspects of projects.
• Schedule roofing projects and check all materials before job begins.
• Document completed roofs with photo documentation.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers covering roofs with materials.
• Schedule work and assign duties to technicians and subcontractors.
• Inspect work in progress daily and all jobs completed prior to releasing payment.
• Coordinate daily safety inspections on job sites.
• Communicate daily with scheduling coordinator and field operations manager.
• Coordinate warranty inspections and determine areas needing repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Field Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Experience in customer service is appreciated.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes and projects.
• Outstanding organizational and managerial abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• 3 years of experience in construction/roofing.
• 2 years of management experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic.
