About the position

Aftermath Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Field Supervisor for our West Palm Beach, FL location. This role is essential for individuals looking to enhance their leadership skills in a dynamic and impactful environment. As a Field Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of our biohazard remediation efforts, providing critical support to families during their most challenging times. The position requires a hands-on approach, where you will actively participate in various bioremediation projects while supervising the successful completion of jobs. Although prior experience in mitigation, remediation, or restoration is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement as Aftermath Services offers comprehensive training and certification in OSHA safety, IICRC compliance, and customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project scopes, managing cleanups, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed. You will also lead on-site customer interactions, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support throughout the biohazard remediation process. The position demands agility and flexibility, as you will need to respond to dispatch calls within one hour and handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Additionally, occasional overnight travel may be required, with accommodations provided by the company. This is a full-time position with a hybrid pay structure, where earnings are based on the work performed, including both an administrative rate and a job rate.

Responsibilities

  • Actively assist the team in various bioremediation projects to provide exceptional service to clients.
  • Supervise the successful completion of jobs, serving in a supervisory capacity for the project as a whole.
  • Accurately estimate, recommend, and advise on project scopes, manage cleanups, and handle necessary paperwork.
  • Effectively communicate and sell a tailored scope of work based on a thorough understanding of the client's needs, obtaining sign-off to initiate work.
  • Lead on-site customer interactions with empathy and professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the biohazard remediation process.
  • Participate in various biohazard remediation projects while providing onsite supervision.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Must reside locally and be able to respond to the shop within one hour of receiving a service call.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in biohazard remediation, construction, demolition, restoration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a technical or field service environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Completion of Aftermath's Field Learning Path within 30 days of start, and Supervisor Learning Path within 90 days of start.

Nice-to-haves

  • IICRC S540 certification or equivalent in biohazard remediation.
  • Experience with XActimate.
  • Proven experience in leading teams in restoration, mitigation, remediation, or construction.
  • Customer service experience, particularly from military personnel.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a track record of successful community engagement and outreach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and relevant software.
