About the position

The Field Support Representative (FSR) role at IDEXX is designed for individuals with veterinary practice experience who are passionate about providing technical support and training to veterinarians using IDEXX diagnostic tools. This position involves traveling to various veterinary clinics, building relationships with clients, and ensuring they effectively utilize IDEXX products. The FSR will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and providing on-site support, making this a dynamic and impactful role in the veterinary diagnostic industry.

Responsibilities

• Teach veterinarians how to use IDEXX diagnostic machines effectively.
• Troubleshoot technical issues on-site at veterinary clinics.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Collaborate with Field Sales Representatives and Customer Support to develop customer account strategies.
• Manage a dynamic schedule to accommodate customer visits and events.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of veterinary clinic experience.
• Training and/or leadership background preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with customers and peers.
• Ability to build trust and confidence with customers.
• Effective planning and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable using technology such as computers, tablets, and smartphones.

Nice-to-haves

• Computer networking experience.
