About the position

As a Field Technical Support Engineer for Baker Hughes, you will be integral in providing post-sales support for Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems. This role involves addressing customer issues, including repairs and technical support, while collaborating with various teams to enhance processes and ensure equipment meets customer specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the design and development of products and services tailored to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Autograph ESP design's/sizing's for Districts various wells and Customers.
• Advise sales personnel, customers, and potential customers on technical issues affecting the installation or sales of Artificial Lift & ESP products.
• Provide support to operations and manufacturing while assisting sales personnel in the preparation of bids and presentations.
• Meet with customers to develop and design products and services.
• Train customers and/or field personnel on new products as needed.
• Travel to area operations locations as required.
• Identify new product opportunities and development strategies.
• Interface with product line management and local management to support direction and strategies to capture market opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred, other degrees considered.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Field Operations/Engineering environment.
• 3+ years of experience with ESP systems operations and reliability/failure mechanisms.
