About the position

We are seeking a Field and Service Technician to join our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Saw Mill and Pallet equipment both domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, basic computer knowledge, and a well-rounded mechanical aptitude. This role involves traveling with a senior technician to troubleshoot, repair, and commission equipment, while also providing customer support when not in the field.

Responsibilities

• Travel with senior Technician to troubleshoot, repair, disassemble, move, reassemble, and commission equipment.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and multimeters to perform repairs and installations.
• Work effectively with factory technicians from other countries.
• Collaborate with customers, maintenance staff, and engineers.
• Serve as customer support staff when not in an active field role, including answering phones/emails and assisting at sales events.

Requirements

• Must maintain a valid Passport.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs (most lifting is done by equipment).
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, including three-phase controls, is desired.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus.
• Experience with basic computer networking and PLC is advantageous for troubleshooting.
• Bilingual skills are given strong consideration.
