About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician with expertise in Desktop Support, Service Desk, and Field Services. This hybrid role requires a combination of on-site and remote work, focusing on supporting field services projects and ensuring seamless technical operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GIS or geospatial software, along with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues and determine if they are hardware, software, or user errors.
  • Replace networked printers as needed.
  • Install and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral equipment at workstations and data cabinets.
  • Assist with employee cubicle and building moves.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for ticketing and document work in a timely manner according to SLA.
  • Familiarize with DELL and HP systems (Desktops/Laptops).
  • Work with docking stations, CC terminals, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Navigate Windows 10, Office 365, MS Teams, and VMWare.
  • Work on mobile devices and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
  • Use remote tools effectively.

Requirements

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in Desktop Support, Service Desk, and Field Services.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of prior experience supporting PCs and printers preferred.
  • A+, CompTIA, and/or MCSA Certification preferred.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Windows and Office, and Active Directory.
  • Experience with GIS or geospatial software and applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a clinical environment (not required but desired).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Benefits

  • Contract position with hourly pay of $34.00 - $35.00 per hour.
  • Hybrid work schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
