The Field Technician role at DISH involves delivering TV and Smart Home solutions directly to customers' homes. Technicians are trained to provide a world-class customer experience, ensuring satisfaction and connection with smart home technologies. This position is crucial to the company's operations, as technicians represent DISH in customer interactions and contribute to the company's reputation for excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Represent DISH in customers' homes and deliver TV and Smart Home solutions.
- Educate customers on smart home possibilities and simplify their lives through DISH installations.
- Ensure an excellent customer experience during service visits.
- Complete installations and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the process.
Requirements
- Aptitude to build rapport quickly with clients.
- Ability to stand on a high ladder (up to 40 feet) for long periods.
- Ability to lift over 70 lbs and meet individual weight limit requirements of 335 lbs.
- Ability to crawl into small spaces and work in varying weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license with a driving record that meets DISH's safety standards.
