About the position

The Field Technician position at Spectrum is an entry-level role focused on delivering essential technology services to customers. Technicians will be responsible for installing, repairing, and educating customers on the use of Spectrum's products and services. This role emphasizes customer service, technical skills, and the ability to work independently in various outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair services for residential customers.
• Educate customers on the proper use of Spectrum services and equipment.
• Perform installations, disconnects, downgrades, and upgrades.
• Complete reconnects as trained.
• Provide world-class customer service during daily interactions.

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use hand tools and measure distances accurately.
• Strong communication and professionalism skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret analytics from meters and handheld devices.
• Physical ability to lift up to 90 lbs and climb ladders up to 32 feet.
