About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk/Office Assistant to join our team at the Law Office of Madelyn Daley & Associates, LLC in Belleville, IL. The ideal candidate will assist in organizing paperwork, managing files, and providing general office support. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our office environment. The role is part-time, with expected hours of 26 per week, and a pay rate starting from $15.00 per hour. As a File Clerk/Office Assistant, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining both physical and digital files, ensuring that all documents are easily accessible and properly categorized. You will assist with data entry tasks, which are crucial for maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will provide support in managing the office supplies inventory, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for daily operations. Handling incoming and outgoing mail will also be part of your duties, as well as assisting in scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for the office. Basic proofreading tasks will be required to ensure that all documents are error-free. Furthermore, you will support customer service inquiries and provide administrative assistance as needed, contributing to a positive experience for clients and visitors to the office.

  • Familiarity with medical receptionist duties is advantageous
  • Capability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
  • Experience in file management and calendar coordination is preferred
