About the position
The FIN 442 Teaching Assistant position at Oregon State University involves supporting the School of Finance/Accounting/Business Info Systems by assisting in the teaching of Portfolio Management (FIN 442) during Winter 2025. The role includes grading assignments, answering student questions, and helping set up the course materials. This position is part-time, with a maximum of 24 hours per week, and is open to students who meet specific academic enrollment criteria.
Responsibilities
- Grading assignments and exams for the course.
- Fielding questions from students regarding course material.
- Assisting in the setup of course materials and resources.
Requirements
- Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
- Must have previously taken Financial Statement Analysis (FIN 442).
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
