The FinOps Analyst I position at Pathward, N.A. is a critical role focused on analyzing prepaid program account activity and balances to identify and resolve discrepancies. In this role, the FinOps Analyst I will identify outstanding account issues and conduct research to determine the cause of these discrepancies. This involves identifying over- and under-funded accounts and processing them according to established procedures. The analyst will also be tasked with updating account review and analysis process documentation to ensure that it accurately reflects current methodologies and practices. This is crucial for maintaining transparency and consistency in financial operations. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role, as the analyst will work with both new and existing clients and processors to ensure that all programs conform to bank requirements regarding processing, funding, functionality, settlement, and reporting. Additionally, the analyst will research and troubleshoot issues identified during the reconciliation process, ensuring that all financial activities are accurately recorded and reported. The position may also involve performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the financial operations team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze prepaid program account activity and balances to identify and resolve issues or discrepancies.
• Understand the funds flow process associated with assigned accounts.
