Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain advanced cost reporting tools for cloud financial operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud spending with operational needs.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives to ensure cloud investments meet strategic goals.
  • Analyze complex cloud cost structures and identify opportunities for savings.
  • Implement cost management strategies that enhance value for clients.
  • Present financial findings to leadership teams and Cloud Governance boards.
  • Monitor utilization and cost spending of cloud services and licenses expenditures.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with DoD and DON Financial Management.
  • 4+ years of experience with cloud financial management and cost optimization strategies.
  • Experience with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting cloud services expenditures.
  • Knowledge of cloud consumption commitments, cloud platforms, and cost management tools.
  • Ability to create and manage detailed financial reports and analyze spending patterns.
  • Secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience with developing Microsoft Power BI visualizations.
  • Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Knowledge of vendor, contracts, and task order management.
  • Knowledge of Technology Business Management (TBM) and SaFE Methodologies.
