About the position

The FinSimple Loss Prevention Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Ford Motor Company is responsible for providing account support to customers with payment delinquencies, performing skip-tracing and collection duties, and maintaining a professional demeanor while navigating various system applications. This role emphasizes strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies. The CSR will also support sales initiatives and contribute to a culture of diversity and inclusion within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide account support to identify solutions for customers with payment delinquencies.
  • Perform skip-tracing and collection duties to determine customer contact information and make account payments current.
  • Navigate through a variety of system applications while speaking with customers directly.
  • Display strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to find solutions to bring accounts current.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, including attendance and promptness.
  • Identify issues and risks to the Company and keep Management informed.
  • Support the sales organization as required to complement business activities.
  • Support a culture driven by a sales mindset to grow commercial market share and maintain high levels of service.
  • Maintain brand awareness.
  • Actively participate in action plans for meeting and exceeding Net Promoter Score (NPS) goals.

Requirements

  • Proficient PC and typing skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Comfortable with technology and adapting to ongoing changes.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule Monday-Friday, including some evenings and holidays.
  • Able to work a 40-hour work week plus limited overtime.
  • Basic understanding of credit, financial analysis, sales, collections, and relationship management.
  • Strong time management and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient technical skills with Ford Credit Business Applications and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Sales and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining organization and time management.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills to independently identify and implement solutions.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication style as appropriate.
