About the position

The Operations Manager at Apogee Delivery and Installation is a pivotal role focused on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of home delivery operations. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in logistics and team leadership, responsible for orchestrating seamless appliance deliveries while ensuring high-quality service and operational excellence. The role emphasizes financial acumen, particularly in managing P&L for contractors and company hubs, and involves leading a team of dispatchers to achieve performance metrics and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate seamless home deliveries from start to finish, optimizing delivery routes for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Lead and inspire a team of eight Dispatchers and Administrative staff, crafting training programs to enhance efficiency and customer service.
  • Implement top-notch quality control measures to ensure product delivery safety and security, conducting regular audits.
  • Collaborate with delivery staff and tech teams to leverage technology for route optimization, tracking, and communication.
  • Act as the liaison between clients, independent contractors, and inventory, nurturing contractor relationships to enhance delivery capabilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in home delivery operations management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Proficient in route optimization software and logistics management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with independent contractors.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Up to 10% quarterly bonus based on performance.
