About the position

This entry-level role at American Credit Acceptance serves as an introduction to the finance function, providing candidates with the opportunity to learn and apply technical frameworks in a corporate finance environment. The position offers exposure to various finance areas, including Accounting, Financial Planning, Data Analytics, Treasury Functions, and Capital Markets, under the guidance of senior finance leaders.

Responsibilities

• Create journal entries and develop account reconciliations.
• Maintain sound internal controls and provide audit support.
• Assist in financial reporting processes.
• Support business intelligence and financial planning activities.
• Conduct data analysis and provide business area support.
• Engage in financial modeling and trend analysis.
• Manage cash applications and accounts payable processes.
• Forecast cash management and debt management activities.
• Participate in securitization pool development and documentation coordination.
• Learn and understand the financial services business and the role of finance within it.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Data Analytics required.
• Entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
• Internship experience in finance or accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated track record of process improvement.
• Customer service and quality-focused mindset.
• Strong computer literacy with experience in BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate).
• Intermediate to expert Excel skills.
