About the position
The Finance Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in managing various financial activities within McLaren Integrated HMO Group. This position is responsible for tasks such as data analysis, cash management, member reconciliations, and responding to legal inquiries. The role emphasizes collaboration with both internal and external parties to ensure efficient financial operations and support special projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform subrogation data pull and analysis.
- Manage cash receipts and postings.
- Handle cash and refund postings.
- Conduct member reconciliations.
- Respond to liens or subpoenas as required.
- Maintain daily correspondence and documentation with internal and external parties.
- Assist the department with special projects as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- One (1) year experience in accounting or financial related functions (e.g., accounts payable/receivable, payroll, billing).
Nice-to-haves
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance.
- One (1) year experience in Managed Care.
