About the position

The Financial Administrative Assistant at Right at Home plays a crucial role in supporting the finance team by managing billing, payroll tasks, and office management. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working with numbers and deadlines, and who can effectively communicate with both employees and clients. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and offers a competitive salary along with various benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a connection with Right at Home employees to understand how management can support them.
  • Produce weekly billing and payments for private care clients.
  • Produce weekly assigned state billing and submissions.
  • Assist with payroll tasks to ensure timely processing.
  • Manage office supplies and caregiving suppliers procurement and distribution.
  • Monthly filing of financial documents.
  • Support the Director of Finance and Executive team on-demand projects.
  • Manage tenant inquiries and service requests for the Ellie Bean Building.

Requirements

  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.
  • Mathematical and accounting acuity.
  • Experience using G-Suite and other accounting software.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Dependable and respectful, upholding company ethics and standards.
  • Medical office and payroll experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, record keeping, and routine database activity.
  • Knowledge in Excel, Google Suite, and DOCS.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts and practices in the home care industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in medical office settings.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing.
