About the position

The Finance Analyst II position at Ahold Delhaize USA is a key role within the FP&A team, responsible for financial analysis and reporting to support HR, Communications, and Business Services functions. The role involves providing financial insights, preparing monthly financial reports, and assisting in decision-making processes through reliable data analysis. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring three in-person days and two remote days each week.

Responsibilities

• Execute the company's financial planning and reporting processes for supported areas, including 3YP, annual budget, in-year forecasts, and latest estimates.
• Serve as a key partner in financial performance management to provide a clear understanding of results and actionable insights.
• Provide analytical support on labor and headcount related reporting and analysis, including monthly reporting and headcount forecasting.
• Partner with HR and business on position requisition processes and headcount costing estimates.
• Participate in the FP&A analyst forum to foster team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Drive continuous process improvements and efficiencies, identifying opportunities to streamline through automation.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related area.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Articulate and effective communication skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ERP and financial planning platforms (e.g., SAP & BPC).
• Experience with data analysis/visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).
