About the position

The Finance Analyst at Campbell Soup Company plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance Department by applying analytical skills and financial acumen to enhance key processes across various functions such as Accounting, Audit, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide insights, conduct financial analysis, and contribute to operational efficiency, all while fostering a collaborative work environment. The role is designed for individuals who are eager to grow their careers in finance and analytics, with opportunities for mentorship and exposure to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams and cross-functional business partners to provide meaningful insights and contribute to business operations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial and/or operational data, identify trends, draw appropriate conclusions and provide recommendations or corrective action plans.
  • Conduct analysis to evaluate business processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Assist with various day-to-day finance and accounting tasks, such as reporting, variance analysis, and/or audit procedures.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships across the team and organization, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Business (Accounting, Business Analytics / Data Analytics, Economics, Finance or Management Information Systems) with a strong preference for a Data Analytics background; graduating in Spring 2025.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Basic understanding and experience with financial statements and financial planning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and data analytics tools such as Power Query, Alteryx or other relevant software.
  • Strong analytical mindset capable of utilizing data and analytics to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Effective communication skills to influence, build relationships and collaborate with team members across various levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, high-level attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple workstreams.
