Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams and cross-functional business partners to provide meaningful insights and contribute to business operations
  • Prepare and analyze financial and/or operational data, identify trends, draw appropriate conclusions and provide recommendations or corrective action plans
  • Conduct analysis to evaluate business processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Assist with various day-to-day finance and accounting tasks, such as reporting, variance analysis, and/or audit procedures
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships across the team and organization, fostering a collaborative work environment

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Business (Accounting, Business Analytics / Data Analytics, Economics, Finance or Management Information Systems), with a strong preference for a Data Analytics background
  • A strong analytical mindset, capable of utilizing data and analytics to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Effective communication skills to influence, build relationships and collaborate with team members across various levels of the organization
  • A proactive work ethic, able to take initiative in managing tasks, escalate questions/issues promptly, and ensure timely follow-through
  • Strong organizational skills, a high-level attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple workstreams
  • Motivation to improve tools, processes, and templates to drive efficiencies
  • A willingness to improve oneself by soliciting feedback from others
  • A basic understanding and experience with financial statements and financial planning
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and data analytics tools such as Power Query, Alteryx or other relevant software
  • Must be graduating in Spring 2025
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship or assistance from the company
