About the position

The Sponsored Project Financial Analyst 1 (SPFA) is an integral part of the Sponsored Agreement Team (SAT) within Women's & Children's Services at Oregon Health & Science University. This team is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and financial management for various sponsored projects, including grants, contracts, and clinical trials. The SPFA specifically focuses on post-award administration and financial management, which encompasses a range of tasks such as pre-award budget assistance, routine financial reporting, expense reconciliation, effort certification, labor adjustments, billing and revenue tracking, expense review and approval, and other administrative duties as required. As the entry-level position in a three-tiered series, the SPFA role is characterized by a lower level of decision-making authority, less complex assignments, and closer supervision compared to higher-level analysts.
