About the position

As a Manager in Technology Business Analysis at EY, you will play a crucial role in transforming business problems into technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Finance, Accounting, and Operations functions. You will lead a team of consultants in implementing finance automation and governance solutions, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical specifications. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, project management, and client engagement to deliver high-quality processes and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver high-quality processes, solutions, or projects.
  • Oversee professional employees or supervise teams to achieve complex technical initiatives.
  • Maintain billable client charging and lead delivery streams.
  • Engage with external clients daily to understand their needs.
  • Evaluate current processes associated with finance management and internal controls.
  • Redesign operational processes to identify challenges and collaborate on solutions.
  • Implement key components of unified intercompany process solutions.
  • Assist with finance technology solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Align and redefine business processes to enhance Finance and Accounting functions.
  • Develop client relationships and manage expectations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes and solutions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in finance management processes.
  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (OTC), and Financial Statement Close Processes.
  • 3+ years of system implementation experience in tools like BlackLine, Trintech, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience in analyzing process challenges and implementing operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to bond with clients.
  • Strong decision-making skills in developing solutions for complex problems.
  • Functional understanding of system development lifecycle and technology business architecture frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

  • Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in corporate consolidations and intercompany reconciliation.
  • Passion for technology and applying it to business solutions.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams.
