About the position

The Finance and Accounting Technology Implementation Manager at EY will be part of the US Tech Consulting Finance Automation & Governance team, focusing on supporting clients in their Finance Automation, Controls & Governance initiatives. This role involves implementing technology systems to enhance the efficiency of Finance and Accounting processes, transforming business challenges into technology solutions that drive automation and improve operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and evaluating current state of Finance Management business processes and controls including Intercompany processing, clearing and settlement.
• Assisting with Finance technology solution design, configuration, test and deployment (e.g. BlackLine, Oracle ARCS, Trintech, OneStream, Tagetik, etc.).
• Aligning and re-defining business processes and identifying additional improvement opportunities to enhance the Finance and Accounting functions.
• Developing client relationships and managing expectations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in supporting Finance Management business processes such as Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (OTC), Financial Statement Close Processes, Accounting Policies and Procedures, Financial Accounting and Reporting Operations/Technology, Performance Management and Measurement, Journals processing, Intercompany Processing, Clearing and Settlements, Consolidations and Elimination Processes, Variance/Fluctuation Analysis and Transaction Matching.
• 3+ years of system implementation experience (requirements gathering through deployment) in tools like BlackLine, Trintech, Oracle, OneStream, Frontier, Tagetik, TLM.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client meetings, drive work products development and coach and guide junior team members.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50-70%.
