About the position

The Senior Finance and Accounting Technology Consultant at EY will be part of a collaborative team focused on implementing technology solutions that enhance finance automation, controls, and governance for clients. This role involves transforming business challenges into technology-driven solutions, improving operational effectiveness in finance and accounting functions, and supporting clients in their transition from manual processes to automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand and evaluate current finance management processes and internal controls.
• Redesign operational processes related to financial management.
• Implement unified intercompany process solutions, including technology and process redesign.
• Assist with the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of finance technology solutions.
• Align and redefine business processes to identify improvement opportunities in finance and accounting functions.
• Develop client relationships and manage projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and approximately two to three years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately two years of related work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Finance Management business processes such as Record to Report (R2R) and Order to Cash (OTC).
• Experience in financial statement close processes and accounting policies and procedures.
• 2+ years of system implementation experience in tools like BlackLine, Trintech, Oracle, etc.
• Ability to analyze process challenges and implement operational improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead client meetings and guide junior team members.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50-70%.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in corporate consolidations and intercompany reconciliation.
• Passion for technology and its application in business solutions.
