About the position

As a Senior Finance and Accounting Technology Consultant at EY, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on transforming finance processes through technology. Your role will involve supporting clients in automating their finance operations, enhancing efficiency, and improving governance. You will work with various technology systems to implement solutions that streamline financial close and reconciliation processes, ultimately helping clients achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Understand and evaluate current finance management processes and internal controls.
• Redesign operational processes to address challenges and collaborate with other EY practice areas.
• Implement unified intercompany process solutions, including technology and process redesign.
• Assist with the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of finance technology solutions.
• Align and redefine business processes to identify improvement opportunities in Finance and Accounting functions.
• Develop client relationships and manage project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of related work experience, or a graduate degree with approximately 2 years of related work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance Management business processes such as Record to Report (R2R) and Order to Cash (OTC).
• Experience in financial statement close processes, accounting policies, and financial accounting operations.
• 2+ years of system implementation experience with tools like BlackLine, Trintech, Oracle, etc.
• Ability to analyze process challenges and implement operational improvements.
• Demonstrated leadership in client meetings and project management.

Nice-to-haves

• Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience in corporate consolidations and intercompany reconciliation.
• Passion for technology and its application in business solutions.
