About the position

The Client Director will lead client engagements within the Finance & Operations Practice, acting as a functional finance expert. This role involves driving sales efforts to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships, coaching the consulting team, and contributing to thought leadership and best practices in finance and operations. The ideal candidate will leverage technology to enhance client business processes and support business development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements as project lead and functional expert.
  • Advise on client business processes including financial close, transactional reporting, integrated financial statements, FP&A, capital & people planning, forecasting & budgeting, strategic planning, financial reporting and analytics, tax & treasury.
  • Build and coach the Finance & Operations team with a focus on client success.
  • Implement best practices for project implementations and deliver holistic client solutions.
  • Support business development activities including building proposals, delivering presentations, and collaborating with channel partners.
  • Conduct client demos and proof-of-concept projects for evaluating technologies.
  • Lead project teams across multiple workstreams, ensuring adherence to delivery methodology and project standards.
  • Approach problems creatively and apply technology to solve business challenges.
  • Contribute to practice development through thought leadership and internal process management.
  • Recruit and mentor new talent while cultivating strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of prior work experience in financial management consulting and/or corporate finance.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at executive levels.
  • Experience in translating customer business needs into dynamic solutions.
  • Experience in change management and business process mapping related to major software implementations is a plus.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Business preferred.
