About The Position

This role is for the first strategic finance hire at Mutiny, a rapidly growing company focused on AI infrastructure for GTM teams. The individual will partner with the founders to build the company's financial model, systems, and operating cadence. The position is responsible for understanding revenue drivers, optimizing pricing and packaging, partnering with GTM teams, managing the data stack and financial systems, and informing capital strategy. The role requires a deep understanding of the entire revenue lifecycle and the ability to translate data into actionable insights and business impact.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze complex data and identify key metrics that explain business performance.
  • Skill in designing and implementing revenue systems and workflows.
  • Understanding of the entire revenue lifecycle and the impact of different levers on each other.
  • Proven ability to drive business impact through data analysis and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in technical tools such as SQL, data warehouses, and CRMs.
  • Eagerness to learn and perform technical tasks independently.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively between sales, product, and founders.
  • Ability to operate at different levels of detail and influence change.

Responsibilities

  • Create the single source of truth for how Mutiny grows, including revenue, funnel health, conversion, expansion, retention, burn, and runway.
  • Analyze what is driving revenue, identify converting segments, compounding motions, and reasons for deal slippage, and take action to address issues or maximize opportunities.
  • Design the operating rhythm of the company, including weekly numbers reviews, board preparation, and planning cycles, and implement systems to improve decision-making speed and accuracy.
  • Continuously optimize pricing and packaging for both PLG and enterprise models to maximize revenue growth and margins, identifying areas where revenue is being left on the table.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand pipeline at the rep level and help increase revenue per rep year-over-year through system and tool optimization.
  • Manage the data stack, CRM hygiene, and financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and fixing any discrepancies at the source.
  • Inform fundraising, hiring plans, and unit economics by providing data and insights to the founders for board presentations.
