About the position

Enru™ Logistics and Postal Optimization is revolutionizing logistics by optimizing it through our proprietary digital-first technology and strategic network of consolidation warehouses. As a Finance Business Intelligence Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Finance organization, transforming operational and financial data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and strategies across the company. You will collaborate closely with department leads across all functions to support financial health, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and growth initiatives by turning complex data into clear, actionable intelligence. This position is critical within the Finance organization, requiring deep Power BI experience and advanced data skills leveraging AI to deliver impactful reporting and analytics. We seek an energetic individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, and execution-oriented environment, with very strong communication skills. This position can sit remotely, with a preference for candidates in the Chicago/Bolingbrook, IL area or Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain production-level Power BI reports, dashboards, and data exports for the Enru Finance organization.
  • Analyze and validate data from source systems, files, or enterprise data warehouses.
  • Design and build data extracts from source to Power BI.
  • Collect and analyze data from various internal and external sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within financial and operational data that can inform business growth and decision-making across departments.
  • Create and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports that visualize financial and operational data in an accessible and actionable format for all department leads.
  • Utilize tools like Power BI, SAP, Essbase, Excel, SQL, or similar platforms to provide real-time insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to multiple departments.
  • Work closely with Finance and business leaders to understand operating expense, capital, headcount, purchase order and other data needs.
  • Prototype solutions for rapid feedback and iterate based on stakeholder input.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Manage project scope, deliverables, risks/issues, and ensure timely delivery of BI solutions.
  • Ensure that BI solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and meet performance requirements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and optimization within financial, commercial and operational workflows across departments.
  • Develop and automate data processes to enhance the efficiency and timeliness of reporting and analysis for the entire organization.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all sources, maintaining high standards for data quality in all analyses that impact various departments.
  • Develop and enforce data governance practices to maintain consistent data quality across the organization.
  • Monitor data quality and refreshes, maintain reports, investigate and fix bugs, partner with IT on BI platform stability, and conduct end-user training to maximize the effectiveness of BI tools.

Requirements

  • BS/MS Degree in Finance, Data/Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Math, or a related field, with a focus or experience in logistics preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
  • Proven experience in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, with a focus on supporting multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated skills in building Power Platform / Power BI design solutions at scale.
  • Experience with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Domo) and Automation tools (Power Automate, UI Path, Automation Anywhere).
  • Expertise in data analysis/profiling, advanced SQL, Python, SAP ERP, BPC Planning, and Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong partnerships across the organization.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in logistics data systems being a plus.
  • Understanding and use of programming skills focused on data analytics and leverage AI to build/assemble modern solutions.
