About the position

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Senior Manager for Finance & Business Operations at the Chelmsford, Massachusetts location. This role involves providing strategic and tactical finance leadership to ensure that the site meets its financial and performance goals. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in senior leadership to set and execute the strategic direction of the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical finance leadership to site functional and program teams.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership including Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Contracts, and Supply Chain.
• Lead a multi-functional finance team in executing financial Long Range Plan (LRP) and Bid & Proposal activities.
• Conduct monthly financial outlooks for Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash.
• Participate in quarterly Contract/Cost Status Reviews (CSR) and various program reviews.
• Ensure accuracy in developing and reporting Estimate at Complete (EAC) for programs.
• Evaluate risks and opportunities, perform critical path analysis, and understand impacts of changes on program baselines.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience developing and delivering presentation material to senior management.
• Experience building and evaluating business cases.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Direct management and supervisory experience.

• Excellent communication and briefing skills.
• Ability to interpret data and indicators.
