About the position
The Finance Clerk position involves performing a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to the maintenance and processing of financial transactions for multiple business entities. The role is essential for ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and reporting, as well as providing support to the finance department.
Responsibilities
- Provides clerical support, such as typing, filing, copying, data entry, and record keeping.
- Responsible for daily bank deposits and other errands as needed.
- Creating and providing financial reports for management and maintaining various spreadsheets.
- Recording and reporting of revenues for various companies.
- Responsible for ATM cash management, record keeping and reporting.
- Accounts payable processing support.
- Assist with End of Month preparation.
- Implement and maintain office supply ordering.
- Maintain a document control process for the finance department.
- Attend departmental meetings as needed.
- Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the Employee Handbook.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years working in an office setting.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suites, specifically MS Excel.
- Ability to deal with confidential information appropriately.
- Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate general knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
