About the position

Join the Logoplaste Team! Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner, to join our team in Plainfield, IL. The Finance Business Partner / Financial Controller is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating manufacturing cost and financial data to ensure the financial reporting's verifiability, reasonableness, and accuracy to support the management decision process and reporting requirements. Support is required on budget and forecast processes and the development of internal control policies and procedures, ensuring accurate production and inventory reporting. The Finance Business Partner shall work closely with a particular business unit, creating a real and active partnership with operations and management. The Finance Business Partner's role is to provide 'real-time' support and analysis, be a trusted adviser, and add value to decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and evaluate manufacturing cost and financial data.
  • Ensure the verifiability, reasonableness, and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Support budget and forecast processes.
  • Develop internal control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate production and inventory reporting.
  • Work closely with a specific business unit to create a partnership with operations and management.
  • Provide real-time support and analysis to management.
  • Act as a trusted adviser and add value to decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Finance or Accounting; MBA and CPA desired.
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Problem-solving attitude to adapt procedures to meet local conditions.
  • Attention to detail to review the work of others.
  • Flexibility to travel.
  • Good interpersonal skills to liaise with personnel at all levels.
  • Strong and positive people management background.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in manufacturing finance roles.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards.
